It’s pain-free even the extractions. If you add microdermabrasion or peels you may experience mild discomfort.

We recommend getting any facial or mask three to seven days before your special event to allow you to recover fully and show off your youthful, healthy glow.

 

The Hydra Dermabrasion treatment is designed for all skin types and can address a wide variety of cosmetic concerns, including acne, acne scars, discoloration, large pores, oily complexion, rough skin, dull skin, wrinkles, and fine lines. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the hydra dermabrasion treatment. Our medical esthetician may choose specific treatment serums and/or customize your treatment for your unique skin condition and needs.

 

Unlike other cosmetic treatments, the Hydra Dermabrasion Facial doesn’t cause pain or redness. However, you should avoid this procedure if you have an active cold sores, active dermatitis or open lesions in the areas to be treated. People who have taken the acne medicine isotretinoin in the past 6 months may need to wait and speak to a doctor about any spot or patch of skin that is growing, bleeding, or changing in any way.

 

If you wear makeup to your appointment, we’ll need to remove it before your treatment. Avoid Retinol 5-7 days prior. You should also refrain from receiving chemical peels for 2 weeks prior to your visit.  Two days before your treatment, do not use any over-the-counter acne medications, such as salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. 2 days before refrain from waxing and using depilatories.

 

Try not to apply makeup 24 hours after your service. Your skin will thank you for it. You may experience some redness, but it should resolve within 15 minutes from the time of treatment.  Avoid exfoliating like glycolic acid or enzymes for one week after your treatment. You may notice some dryness or flaking. Wear sunscreen post-treatment and integrate sun care into your daily routine to protect and maintain your results.  Do not wax or use depilatories for at least 48 hours after the treatment. Don’t use any medium or deep chemical peels or laser treatments for at least two weeks after your facial treatment. Avoid heat (hot showers, sauna, and intense cardio) for 24 hours after treatment.  You should not wash your face for about six hours after your treatment.
